Building Permits are required for:

All new buildings.
All additions, remodelings or improvements. (Shingle replacements are exempt.)
Driveway/culvert-new/altered-33’/Town Right of Way-Only asphalt/gravel, no above ground obstacles

State Statute: The Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code protects the health, safety, and value of residental properties.
Town Ordinance: The Town building permit records property changes that do not require a State inspection.

Non Compliance will subject the property owner to a fine.
